Ceramic vase, pottery vase, handmade vase. Perfect for a couple of fresh flowers, dried grasses or dried flowers, or twigs or..... to sit empty looking stunning.

Created on my potter's wheel on the south coast of Dorset, England, the strong, modern form is made from stoneware clay. When the vase is dried to leather hard, I press my MadeByPowley stamp at the base of the bottle. The vase is then left to dry before it is placed in the kiln for the first firing, the bisque firing which reaches the temperature of 1050 degrees Celcius.

The vase is removed from the kiln and is glazed and now ready for the final firing, the high fire, to 1240 degrees Celcius. 3 days later the kiln has cooled sufficiently to safely open it. So happy to see the awesome colours and how tactile the vases are. Filled with joy!!!

The ceramic vase is dishwasher and microwave safe.
