Ceramic Mug, Green mug for coffee lovers, tea lovers or hot chocolate lovers!

The mug is hand thrown on my potter's wheel on the south coast of Dorset, When the mug has dried for a day, a handle is pulled from a lump of clay and attached to the mug. When it is bone dry, the mug is loaded into the kiln for its first firing - the bisque firing - which reaches 1050 degrees Celcius.

The mug is then ready to glaze. The interior and top third of the exterior of the pottery mug are covered in a speckled plum glossy glaze. The rest of the exterior is covered in 3 green glassy glazes. After glazing, it then returns to the kiln for its final high firing which reaches 1240 degrees Celcius. Love the green glaze drips that stop before the bottom of the mug! The kiln gods were kind!!!
